The School - Behaviour Mentor

This secondary school is an Ofsted rated 'good' school in Camden, well serviced by tube, overground and bus routes to local areas. The school has an inclusive and creative learning environment supported by a team of Teachers, behaviour mentors & teaching assistants.

The Role - Behaviour Mentor

The school are looking for nurturing & creative support educators to work with students across various year groups, who have additional needs. You will need to be calm, have a strong presence, be confident in building rapport & be proactive when supporting these vulnerable learners.

Job overview:
  • Provided 1:1 or group support
  • Assist the Teacher
  • Provide a positive & engaging learning environment
  • Manage emotional and behavioural learning barriers

What do you need? - Behaviour Mentor

  • Experience supporting children, youth or young adults
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build good rapport with young people
  • Patience, empathy & a strong presence
