About the Role
Long Term Futures is collaborating with a forward-thinking SEN school in Barnet to appoint a dedicated Behaviour Mentor. This role involves providing one-on-one support and small group instruction to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, particularly those with ASD and challenging behaviours.
Working closely with the school's pastoral team and teaching staff, you will implement effective behaviour management strategies, contribute to lesson planning, and assist with progress monitoring to ensure each student's development is tracked and supported. Your role will be pivotal in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored one-on-one support and small group instruction to students with SEMH needs.
- Implement and support behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Conduct progress monitoring, recording and reporting on student achievements and areas for improvement.

- Strong understanding of behaviour management and inclusive education practices.
- Ability to contribute to lesson planning and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
