Your role will be to offer behaviour support within the schools alternative provision and ensure students are happy and thriving. The position is full time, long-term with opportunities to secure a permanent salaried position.
The role:
- Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Helping students manage their behaviour
- Helping students gain a better understanding of their emotions
- Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities
- Working as key player within the support network
- Celebrating every success!
For your application to be successful you will need:
- Experience of supporting children/young people
- Strong behaviour management skills
- To be open-minded and have a positive and supportive approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have legal right to work in the UK
