An opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing excellent support to bereaved children and adults to join our bereavement team has arisen.
Our Bereavement Service provides specialist and therapeutic support and counselling to children, young people and adults, who have been bereaved through a death by any means, using individual, group and family techniques as appropriate. This service is continually growing and trying innovative ways to meet the needs of a diverse group of individuals.
As a Bereavement Counsellor, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, managing your own caseload and supporting service development.
You will be qualified to a minimum of Level 5 Counselling and have experience in supporting adults and children through difficult situations. You will also ideally have knowledge and skills in bereavement support or counselling.
