We are inviting expressions of interest for the role of Sessional Counsellor/Play Therapist to work with Children & Young People (CHYP), who have been the victims of crime, under the Victim Counselling Service, which is delivered under a call-off contract with the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire.

Sessional CHYP Counsellors/play therapists must be qualified to Diploma level or equivalent, be accredited with the BACP or the UKCP, or eligible to apply, and have relevant training and experience in counselling children and young people.

Please note that this is not a staff role. Sessional Counsellors are engaged on a freelance basis, similar to counsellors in private practice undertaking EAP work.
