CYP Counsellor Required: Fareham, Hampshire

Salary: £22,872.75 per year for 30 hours per week

Responsibilities:

1. Hold a client one-to-one counselling caseload.
2. Provide help line support.
3. Develop and facilitate regular therapeutic psycho-educational group sessions.
4. Work with others to develop a team of Peer Volunteers who will co-facilitate therapeutic group sessions.
5. Deliver therapeutic sessions and groups in a range of geographical locations, meeting the needs of the people we work with.
6. Ensure all work is carried out within contractual requirements as directed by the Clinical Lead and Team Manager in line with national guidelines and local best practice.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Counselling qualification at Diploma level or above.
2. Minimum of one year's experience working in a client-centered way.
3. Current BACP membership and conscientious adherence to the BACP Ethical Framework.
4. Experience of professionally supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, domestic abuse, sexual violence, substance misuse, or mental health issues.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
6. Car driver with use of a car for work purposes.
