Lead Physiotherapist / Band 7 - Neuro

Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Full time
Shifts: Monday - Friday 0830 - 5pm ( can be flexible on start and finish times )

  • An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to work within a Specialist Complex Care Service . The service offers a high standard of person-centred care to adults with complex mental health needs and neuro-disabilities, including Huntington's disease and Parkinson's.
  • The Service has 43 large bedrooms in total across 2 units. They are rated highly on (url removed) and have a number of fantastic reviews left by services users and relatives of services users.

About the role:

  • You'll responsible and accountable for physiotherapy assessments and treatment of highly complex neurological conditions.
  • Participate in collecting and analysing clinical audit data and use of relevant outcome measures, carry out clinical risk assessments and complete risk management plans.
  • Advise on mobility and manual handling devices and positioning equipment for residents, and document recommendations and guidance accordingly.
  • Identify and source specialist equipment for all residents with complex physical needs; ensuring all therapy equipment is well maintained, clean and safe to use.
  • As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.



Are you ?

  • An experienced Physiotherapist Band 6 looking for a step into a band 7 role? Or in a band 7 Physiotherapist role looking for a change of scene
  • Registered with the HCPC and full eligibility to live and work in the UK with a minimum of 1 years UK work experience in a similar setting?
  • Passionate, caring, fun and energetic, with a genuine commitment and desire to make a difference to the lives of the residents we care for every day?

  • Experienced in Brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation or spinal injuries?
