Male sports coaches required in Manchester

Cover People are actively looking for full time male sports coaches with UK based experience working with children, preferably aged 11-16 years old. The ideal candidate would have a relevant degree (BSc or MSc) OR coaching badges with recent experience.

The role

Cover People work with secondary schools across Manchester. We are looking for Sport coaches who are looking to gain more experience within the education sector with potential opportunities to go permanent in the future! These roles will involve teaching KS3 male PE in secondary schools in the heart of Manchester and cover a broad range of sports including football, rugby, rounders and netball. There are also opportunties to work in other areas of the schools.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate a degree related to sports/PE or coaching equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching Physical Education within secondary schools or extensive sports coaching experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion to impact students to create a productive environment for students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. The above vacancy is a temporary position. Occasionally, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. We offer flexibility with this, as we understand some candidates may not wish to commit to a permanent contract.
