Role - OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST £53,200.00 + EXCELLENT BENEFITS (SEE FURTHER BELOW)

BASED AT KINGS NORTON or GREAT BARR IN EDUCATIONAL/COMMUNITY SETTINGS

  • PERMANENT ROLE
  • OPTION TO WORK 5 DAYS PER WEEK
  • POTENTIAL TO WORK 1 DAY PER WEEK FROM HOME
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 09:00am-17:00pm or 8.30am - 16.30pm
  • £2k INDIVIDUAL TRAINING ALLOWANCE for CPD
  • FULL UK LICENSE & OWN VEHICLE REQUIRED
  • Must have experience in Learning Disabilities and moderate to severe complex needs with 18-25 year olds and 25 upwards adults

Our client is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their clinical division, working collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for their adults with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, complex and SEMH needs

This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week) where the successful candidate will work Monday-Thursday between the hours of 7:15am - 4:00pm and 7.15am to 11.45am on Fridays. Hybrid working can be discussed.

Role Overview

You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping adults in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Occupational Therapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. In addition, you will provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies, as required.

Essential Criteria

  • Recognised and relevant Occupational Therapist degree
  • Registered with the HCPC and RCOT
  • Sensory Integration qualification desirable
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Previous experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities
