Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Connect2SocialWork are recruiting an Occupational Therapist for a Children's Service in Dorset. The role offers support to substantially disabled children and young people with multiple or complex needs, their families and statutory/voluntary carers via assessment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist with an interest in Sensory Integration
- BSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered
- Understanding of disability issues
- Understanding of statutory Child Protection principles, procedures and practices and fundamental understanding of childcare legislation
- Excellent communication in English, written and verbal
- Driving licence and access to car with business insurance - extensive travel required
- Enhanced DBS
WHAT'S ON OFFER:
- 37 hours per week (flexible on actual times)
- Rate of pay: 36.50 per hour; 45p per mile (travel)
- Flexible working hours
