About The Role

Together we can change children’s lives. At Place2Be, we believe every child should have easy access to mental health support whenever they need it. We create a safe place in schools where children and young people can open up without pressure or stigma. Allowing our highly skilled and diverse counsellors to reach children, young people and their families who need us.

This role will be based in a referral unit working with children and young people who will have complex needs. We’d encourage applicants who have specialist skills in areas such as trauma-informed approaches, risk management, and experience working with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) to apply. Whilst the primary focus of this role is one-to-one therapeutic work and assessment and formulations, the post holder will also offer staff reflective support via Place2Think sessions.
