- Qualifications and Registration: A degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc) and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Clinical Experience: Extensive experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and complex mental health needs, ideally within high-dependency or specialist mental health settings.
- Expertise in Assessment and Treatment: Proficiency in assessing and treating occupational dysfunction with a person-centred approach that supports service users' goals and enhances their quality of life.
- Leadership and Supervision: Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring support staff.

- Assess and treat occupational dysfunction for a small group of service users in a collaborative, supportive environment.
- Work closely with a full multidisciplinary team on-site to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
- Guide individuals in developing essential life skills through a structured clinical care model, supporting their journey toward greater independence.
- Oversee and provide clinical supervision to junior team members, including Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Report directly to the Regional Lead Occupational Therapist, ensuring the highest standards of care and professional support.
- Participate in ongoing service improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of OT services across the site.
- Support site-wide Occupational Therapy provision with a person-centred, evidence-based approach.
- Engage in professional development through structured appraisals and supervisions.
