Hence our focus, ‘become more’.The RoleThe role will involve teaching and assessing the practical aspects of our reformer Pilates programme, with opportunities at various training venues throughout the UK.You will need to teach the course in accordance with the timetables, lesson plans and resources we supply, although you will also have the autonomy and opportunity to shape the customers’ experience by using your expert knowledge and drawing upon your own professional experiences.As a new tutor, you will initially be paired with our more experienced senior tutors who will provide all the on-the-job training needed to enable you to teach independently.The role is a freelance and self-employed position, and work is allocated to tutors based on their availability and skill-set. Most of our courses are delivered at weekends, although mid-week opportunities may also be available.The current rate of pay is as follows:£185.00 per day – Level 3 Courses (including reformer Pilates). These are reviewed annually in line with the consumer price index.Note: Expenses and enhancements are also covered as required.Your Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>have at least 2 years’ experience of working in the health and fitness sector, preferably relating to the planning and delivery of reformer Pilates classes.</li><li>be a passionate and energetic fitness professional with a genuine hunger to help others realise their potential and increase their career prospects.</li><li>be service-focused and willing to do 'whatever it takes' to exceed the customer's expectations.</li><li>possess strong communication skills, particularly those softer skills, being able to demonstrate sensitivity and empathy as required.</li></ul>Your Qualifications<ul><li>Level 3 Diploma in Mat Pilates (or equivalent)</li><li>A recognised reformer Pilates training certificate</li><li>A relevant teaching qualification - may consider applicants working towards (e.g. Award/Certificate/Diploma in Education and Training, PTLLS, DTLLS, CTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE)</li><li>A relevant vocational assessing qualification - may consider applicants working towards (e.g. D32/33, A1/A2, CAVA, AVRA)</li></ul>Finally, you must be able to commit to HFE exclusively in a commercial capacity – we do not employ tutors who work for other commercial training providers. We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and dynamic casual coaches to lead sessions which engage children. When work is available you will be contacted. The rate of pay is £11.96 per hour.<h2>Requirements</h2>You will hold an Athletics Level 2 (UKA Athletics Coach qualification)<h2>Responsibilities</h2>As a Sports Coach you will lead in the teaching/coaching of a variety of client groups of varying ability. You will lead the delivery of a progressive and developmental programme, maintaining and updating participant records, checking all teaching equipment and ensuring that a safe and comfortable environment is provided at all times.<h2>The Individual</h2>You are required to have experience in Athletics coaching. Experience working with children from a variety of backgrounds. Experience of planning structured activity sessions. You must have excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to work in a team. You must also have the ability to work independently and be strongly self motivated and have the ability to communicate effectively with children and young people; You must have strong interpersonal skills, be flexible and adaptable and have strong leadership skills. You must have the ability to motivate and enthuse others and be willing to work flexible hours including weekend work and be willing to undertake personal development. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
