Service Development and Quality Improvement Contribute to the development and enhancement of acute OT services within the clinic, implementing evidence-based protocols and practices. Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of care and continuous improvement. Identify opportunities for service expansion or innovation that enhance patient outcomes and clinic reputation. Communication and Multidisciplinary Collaboration Build strong professional relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to share insights, coordinate care, and advocate for patients' needs. Participate actively in MDT meetings, case conferences, and clinical handovers to support holistic and comprehensive patient care. Essential Criteria: Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, with full HCPC registration in the UK. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience (for Band 6) or 5+ years (for Band 7) in an acute care or rehabilitation setting, with exposure to complex case management. Clinical Skills: Advanced clinical skills in acute assessment, ADL training, cognitive and physical rehabilitation, and discharge planning. Leadership: Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and support junior staff or students, promoting a culture of excellence. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Desirable Criteria: Specialization: Additional training or certification in areas such as neurological rehabilitation, cognitive therapy, or hand therapy. Private Sector Experience: Previous experience in a private healthcare setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality, client-focused care. Quality Improvement: Involvement in clinical audits, service improvement projects, or research.
