About Us
Joining a health-related support group bridges the gap between medical support and holistic care, helping you understand your social, psychological, and emotional health needs. A group such as Hummingbird Cancer Support Group provides access to a range of friendly, qualified holistic therapists who offer a variety of complementary therapy treatments. It also offers opportunities to make connections, form friendships, and talk with others going through similar experiences. This safe space allows you to discuss your feelings, side effects, coping strategies, and perhaps even positive aspects of your diagnosis.
Hummingbird Cancer Support Group
Hummingbird Cancer Support Group (CSG) offers support in a H.E.A.L.I.N.G way, prioritising Help and Support. Our team comprises local people, some of whom have experienced cancer first-hand, while others are happy to sit and listen to your story. We also offer virtual meetups if you cannot attend in person. The sociable structure of our group helps members feel part of a family and among friends.
If you or your family member/carer wish to enjoy a complementary therapy treatment, you can book in advance or during the session. We recommend a donation of £10 for each therapy, which goes directly to the charity to help us continue our support.
