About us
Our hospital is founded on the principles of providing excellence in one place and since our beginnings almost 100 years ago, we have been dedicated to building teams of experts supported by world-class medical resources.
We invest in the latest technologies and are proud to be part of the community of world-class hospitals that makes London a globally renowned centre for medical care.
The London Clinic also operates as a charity. This means we continually reinvest in the research, education and innovation that allows us to improve the lives of our patients and the wider community.

Our quality care
At The London Clinic we bring together internationally renowned consultants, with teams of health professionals so we can specialise in the care and treatment of complex medical conditions, such as cancer, women’s health, urology, and orthopaedics (bones and joints) - all in a high-quality private setting.
We also invest in state-of-the-art facilities and medical technologies so we can offer ground-breaking treatments in specialist treatment units. These multi-accredited treatment centres are at the heart of The London Clinic.
It’s all about you
Exceptional patient care is a way of life for us. Our nurses, clinicians and support teams are dedicated to the care of a very small number of patients, so we have more time to care. This includes dedicated after-care teams and many extra touches that aren’t available in other hospitals. We personalise treatment plans, keep jargon to a minimum and take care of every detail, to make each patient’s experience as effortless as possible.
This is reflected in our patient satisfaction results with 98.8% of our patients saying they would recommend The London Clinic.

Our charity
At The London Clinic we’re committed to our charitable status and the contribution we make for the benefit of others.
Since 1935, we’ve been reinvesting any additional income into charitable activities that improve health outcomes – for our patients and for the wider community.
We invest in leading edge technology and share best practice that will benefit patients; bring great thinking together exploring new ways of caring in partnership with other healthcare providers; and we support and encourage our doctors and nurses to build their skills and careers through education.
Our innovations
We are proud to be a hospital that offers our patients cutting-edge innovation in healthcare. As a charity, we continually reinvest in our technology and facilities to provide advanced personalised patient care, like robotic surgery and ground-breaking cancer therapies. These innovations lead to improved outcomes, faster recovery, and the best possible experience for each patient.
CQC and accreditations
The London Clinic is recognised by many organisations for the quality of care we provide, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the Intensive Care National Audit and Research Centre (ICNARC) and the JACIE accreditation for our stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy work.
We hold an ‘Excellent’ Macmillan Quality Environment Mark (MQEM) for our cancer centre, the Duchess of Devonshire Wing.
