Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to work on a one-to-one basis with a Key Stage 2 child in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time role, requiring patience and commitment to support a child who is frequently out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored one-to-one support to a KS2 child with behavioural needs.
Implement strategies to help manage behaviour and promote engagement with learning.
Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to create a supportive environment.
Offer emotional and social guidance to help the child develop positive coping mechanisms.
Maintain a calm and structured approach to encourage progress and development.
Requirements:
Experience working with children with behavioural challenges, ideally in a school setting.
Strong resilience and patience to support a child with complex needs.
Ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent support.
A proactive and adaptable approach to working in an educational environment.
Job Details:
Full-time position (Monday to Friday).
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
Based in Wolverhampton.
