
Behaviour Mentor (SEND)
Salary is dependent on experience, training and qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: experience with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play, care or other relevant setting. We must be able to obtain references from this role.
The Role
We are working alongside one Primary and one Secondary range Special School to make a number of permanent appointments to their staff team.
The needs of young people within the setting include:
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Complex Needs
- Autism ASC
- Sensory learning
- PMLD and SLD
The School
The schools is based in the Aylesbury area. The school offers car parking but can also be accessed by public transport.
We are seeking positive, caring, resilient, fun practitioners who are energetic, can support, adapt, think on their feet and enjoy the challenge of working with the schools fabulous young people, building positive relationships with staff and students alike.
Requirements
To be considered for the Behaviour Support Assistant role, you will:
- Have previous experience of working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting
- We must be able to obtain valid references from these roles.
- Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service
