Mental Health Recovery Worker
Location: Lincoln, UK
Full Time 37.5 hours per week with varied shift pattern
12.54 per hour and excellent benefits / 24,460 plus Sleep In Allowance of 62.50 adding an extra 3000 per year to your salary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to individuals in recovery, helping them to set and achieve personal goals.
  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored support plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Facilitate group sessions and workshops to promote recovery and personal development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Encourage and support clients in accessing community resources and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support plans, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.



Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a recovery or support role, within a mental health or substance misuse context.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Understanding of recovery principles and person-centred approaches.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications in health, social care, or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care).
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in using IT systems for record-keeping and reporting.
