As a counsellor in our service, you will be at the centre of continuing to bring our response to the current mental health crisis to life. The role will primarily involve working with clients using PCE-Counselling for Depression or Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy. You may also be asked to work with our subsidised service as well as with clients on our other contracts. You will be supported by clinical manager/s and administrator/s from the team. Experience: Essential:<ul><li>Qualification in the NHS/IAPT compliant modality Counselling for Depression (CfD)</li><li>Qualified to Degree, MSc, MA, or Diploma level in Counselling</li><li>BACP/UKCP registered member</li><li>BACP accredited or working towards accreditation</li><li>Delivered a minimum of 320 client hours to include agency work</li><li>Significant counselling experience post qualification, either in a paid or voluntary capacity</li><li>Experience of providing effective time limited counselling</li><li>Experience of carrying out assessments of client support needs, including risk assessments</li><li>Experience of working with people who have experienced a common mental health problem</li><li>Developed skills in assessing risk and a working knowledge of managing complex risk assessment in practice</li><li>Experience of delivering counselling over the phone and / or via video conferencing</li></ul>Desirable:<ul><li>Completed a Level 7 or equivalent BACP accredited counselling course</li><li>Experience of providing a counselling intervention within a primary care or IAPT setting</li><li>Qualification in another IAPT compliant counselling modality i.e. DIT</li><li>Worked in a service where agreed targets were in place demonstrating clinical outcomes</li><li>Experience of developing and delivering therapeutic group work</li><li>Experience of using electronic case management systems such as IAPTus</li></ul>

Associate Trauma Counsellor Required: Home-based/Online Salary: £30 per hourLocation: home based, onlineContract: initial 6 months self employed with possibility of an employed role at the end of the initial periodWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Trauma-Focused Therapist to join our award-winning, innovative team. We operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable working with risk.In this role, you will work with victim/survivors of sexual violence within a clearly defined and structured framework, focusing on phase 1 trauma therapy. You will utilize your knowledge of working with the impact of traumatic experiences, identifying and managing risk, intense emotions, behaviors, and other trauma responses to offer focused, time-limited, and open-ended therapy sessions remotely via video.This role initially is 6 months on a self-employed basis with the possibility of an employed role after the initial period. Within the 16 hours, you will see up to 13 clients per week, attend team meetings, case management, and clinical supervision. All supervision is funded by Trauma Recovery CIC and is with our approved external clinical supervisors.You will attend regular online team meetings, CPD sessions, and training days (some training days are in person). You will have excellent communication skills and knowledge of the links between past trauma and current behavioral presentations. Working hours are set and will be negotiated prior to the role commencing; however, all team members are required to work Tuesday mornings to attend meetings, clinical supervision, and CPD, and to work at least one late shift (Wednesday or Thursday 3pm until 8pm).

Associate Trauma Counsellor Required: Home-based/Online

To participate in operations designed to tackle stuck issues, including entrenched behaviours by those with no recourse to public funds. These are going to be shifts ranging from 7:00am-21:00pm.
